Highland Neighborhood Association represents all the home owners, home renters, and business people within the boundaries. We are all members whether we take an active part or not.

We have clout! Our neighborhood association is recognized by the Salem City Council, City staff, and various boards and commissions as the official voice of the neighborhood. We have two elected councilors representing the North and South sections of Highland. Some of the issues we tackle:

• land use and zone changes
• traffic speed and noise
• crime prevention and law enforcement
• bus and bike routes
• city budget, taxes and assessments
• other things that are brought to our attention!

What is in it for you? Meet new friends. Influence decisions/actions at City Hall. Make Highland a better to place to live. Learn new skills. Work for positive change in our community to solve problems and concerns. Have fun!
